where did this year go!!

Well I cannot belive that it is June in 2 weeks. I have been a horrible blogger!! Well let me see if I can give you a quick update.

In Febuary Jimmie went off to Montana to the National Range Society Convention and competed in many events. He entered last minuet for the public speaking contest. He won 2nd place! I was so proud of him.

I went for my first turkey hunt.  We chaised down a couple but the score is still Turkey 1 Bridget : 0. Maybe next year

We spent Easter at Jimmies parents house and spent time with his sister and her family. We love going to visit.

We had a big family trip to the zoo in may right after classes ended. We all went up to Albuquerque and had such a great time.  We went to the aquarium and rode the train.

This semmester went by so fast. I am happy that it is over. Now time for a nice relaxing summer.... ha ha no not really. Jimmie has a summer job that takes us up to Taos area every week. So we drive 6 hours there the begining of the week and then 6 hours back to be home for 2 or 3 days before we drive back up.

We both got new callings. We are no longer in the Cub Scouts. I got put into the relief society presidency and Jimmie is the new Elders Quarom President so that keeps us busy but we really like it.

We are going to Utah in 2 weeks. I am so exicted to see my family. It has been almost a year since I have seen some and 2 for others. My little baby sister Whitney is graduating from high school. Man if that doesnt make me feel old.

Oh and top of all of this we are moving. Yep we bought a trailer and are moving from small family housing to our own place. We plan to change some things in it but it is nice. We are very excited. I stood at the paint section in walmart for ever just dreaming of what colors to paint my kitchen..... So we are half moved in and will move the rest over the next couple of weekends when we are home.

Man if this is not the pregnant year or what. I am suprised im not pregnant with so many people i know expecting. I had to write a list on my computer so I wouldnt forget anybody and right now it is at 14 wonderful ladies. I know they will all make great moms and I am very happy for them.

Oh ok and one last tidbit.. I got straight A's for the first time ever. I was so suprised. I think that this calls for a celebration! Next semmester will be just as busy. I am taking 18 credits but most of my classes are online. It will be just as busy for Jimmie too, he works so hard and I am very greatful for him.
